We were not credit card processors who decided to support hospice as a gimmick to drive up processing sales. We worked in other industries and became credit card processors solely to raise money for hospice and other causes.
We have trained and worked tirelessly to learn the credit card business inside and out.
And we do know this business inside and out because it is all we do.
We don't sell phone service, payroll services or analytic data marketing and offer payment processing as an add on service. Payment processing is our main focus. This allows us to help our merchants get more and pay less.
Margaret Wilcox Kinnecom spent her career working in Boston as an advertising executive. Her work has been highly awarded locally and nationally. Her experience includes being a vice president/senior creative director at Hill, Holliday in Boston and running an advertising freelance company. Margaret now uses her advertising expertise to market and advertise Swipe for a Cause merchants…for free.
Andrew S. Kinnecom is an entrepreneur with a background in hospitality and resort development, employing more than 500 individuals in his career. He owned a historic golf resort and club in North Carolina, and built an 83-suite Best Western hotel in Florida. Andy was elected to Best Western's Board of Governors in Phoenix, AZ, and served on numerous non-profit and association boards. He returned to his native RI following his late wife's death in 2009 and joined Chrysalis Hospice's effort to build RI's first residential hospice house. He is a master at creating transparent credit card processing proposals that merchants can quickly understand. He can also teach anyone to read their credit card processing statements…
Kevin Anderson, Chief Executive Officer
Kevin is in his second year with the company, spending his first as an account executive. During that first year, it became clear he was the one who could take this company to the next level. He has an entrepreneurial business spirit and endless analytical skills. Kevin spent 13 years in the Navy as a Naval Aviator. During that time he landed on aircraft carriers, hunted pirates off the Horn of Africa and held many different administrative, managerial and leadership roles. He ultimately returned to RI in 2009 for a tour at Newport's Officier Training Command. Kevin earned his MBA from Babson. His wife, Danielle, is one of our star account managers for Swipe for a Cause. They have three children and live in North Kingstown.
Brad Robinson, Operations Manager
Brad Robinson is the national Operations Manager for Swipe for a Cause. Brad joined the team in July 2013 as an account manager, and quickly caught onto the payment processing industry. He still does sales, but his main focus is on the day-to-day operations of the company. Brad has dealt with hospice firsthand in the final months of his grandfathers’ lives, and is passionate about giving businesses the ability to support this worthy cause. Brad loves the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins & Celtics, and attends as many games as he can.
John Sayles, Account Executive
John came to Swipe for a Cause after several years in the insurance industry. After losing his mother to ovarian cancer, he knew he wanted to make a positive difference in the world and joined the team at Swipe for a Cause. John is well known in regional hockey circles, loves to fish on Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island, and was the club champion three years in a row at the Donald Ross designed Warwick Country Club in 2013.
Alan Kerr, Account Executive
Alan Kerr comes to Swipe after being a Vice President for DD Distribution in Warwick, Rhode Island. Alan brings with him a strong background in Advertising and Public Relations. After a successful career in Los Angeles in the entertainment industry and running his own production company, he decided to move back to Rhode Island to be close to his ailing father and “best friend”. Alan was able to be there for his father while he suffered from congestive heart failure and would later die under hospice care. Alan is extremely proud to be part of Swipe for a Cause and to work with such a dedicated and passionate team.
Danielle Anderson, Business Development Manager
Danielle Anderson worked in retail management in various roles. She developed the initial store of the luxury boutique Fresh on Newbury Street in Boston. She also worked for Versace in Miami and was a regional manager for the national high-end retail store Theory in NYC. Danielle has dedicated the past 7 years to raising her family in Rhode Island. She experienced hospice care before losing a close uncle and grandfather within a year of each other. Upon hearing about Swipe for a Cause, she was moved by the idea and teamed up with her husband to help grow the cause and business.
